Are you interested in learning about SEO? If so, there are many ways that you can get the information that you need. You can attend workshops, conferences, college courses and online courses, join groups or clubs related to SEO and subscribe to newsletters and magazines that focus on this topic.

Go to in-person workshops.

In-person workshops can be a great way to learn something new. They're often cheaper than college courses, more focused on a specific topic, more interactive and hands-on than a college course, and you have the added benefit of being able to interact with other people in your field who are learning about the same thing.

Attend conferences.

It's a wonderful thing to get together with like-minded people and learn from their experiences in SEO. Conferences are also a great place to network, find new tools and techniques, and stay up to date on what's going on in the industry. You'll be able to learn from the speakers---and from all of the other attendees!

Take a college course.

Take a college course.

SEO is one of the fastest growing fields, and there are plenty of jobs available for those with the right skills. Taking a college course will not only help you learn about SEO, but it can also provide you with a certificate that can help you get your foot in the door at an agency or company. This doesn't have to be expensive either---many schools offer online courses for free! If you're interested in taking an SEO course at home, check out Udemy or Coursera (two popular providers). They each have great options for beginners looking to find their way into the industry

Take an online course.

Another way to learn SEO is by signing up for an online course. An online course can be a great way to get started with your learning, but it's important that you find the right one. The key here is finding a course that offers structured lessons and allows you to move through them at your own pace.

Many people who are just starting out in SEO find it helpful to take an introductory class or two before diving into the more advanced topics. While there are some excellent free resources on the internet, many of these courses aren't always very detailed on how to actually implement what you've learned into your everyday life as an SEO professional. If this sounds like something you might be interested in doing, check out Udemy or Lynda (both offer monthly subscription plans).

Join an SEO group.

The benefit of joining an SEO group is that it allows you to gain knowledge from other people who have been in the industry for a while. You can ask them questions, see what they do, and learn from their experience.

Make sure that when you are looking for a group, you find one that is right for you. There are many groups out there with different levels of expertise. If someone has just started learning SEO, they probably don't want to join a group full of experts who could overwhelm them with too much information and make them feel like they're not good enough to belong there! So be sure to find somewhere where people are at your level so that everyone feels comfortable sharing their knowledge.

There are some great social media channels for finding these types of groups: Facebook Groups (usually branded under "[industry name] + [city or country]"), LinkedIn Groups (search by keywords) and Twitter chats (#hashtags). Once you've found one or more groups, simply follow the instructions on how those sites work in order to join them!
